I bought this on DVD as an impulse buy when my sister was pregnant. My neice is now nearly two and watches this over and over again. Keeps her fully entertained. It's exactly like the My Little Pony's that I remember as a child. Great graphics, easy story lines for little ones to understand. Defo recommend to buy for little girls

I ordered this DVD after seeing it being reviewed on YouTube and finding out that 'Ice Cream Wars (I loved that episode when I was younger)' was on there. Although the website says that the DVD is 20 minutes long, it's actually about 80 minutes long because there are 8 episodes (4 stand-alone episodes and two 2-part episodes). The other episodes on this DVD are 'Mish Mash Melee (an episode I initially saw on video when I was about 11),' 'The Revolt of Paradise Estate (one of my favourite episodes from when I was little), 'The Great Rainbow Caper' and 'Would Be Dragonslayer.'

The title episode is good, but my favourites are definitely the ones I saw as a child. I originally had 'Ice Cream Wars' and 'The Revolt of Paradise Estate' on the same tape, so being able to retrieve those episodes on DVD was very rewarding.

A couple of complaints are the opening sequence looking somewhat pixelated (the actual episodes are in a reasonable quality) and some typing errors on the blurb (the enemies in 'The Great Rainbow Caper' are called the Gizmonks, not the Gizmocks and the young boy in 'Would Be Dragonslayer' is called Squire Alonzo, not Spike because Spike is the really cute pink dragon with green scales). Other than that, the episodes are worth watching and I definitely recommend this DVD to anyone who remembers this show from their childhood. Just bear in mind that you'll get more episodes that Amazon states. 4/5.
