I was shopping for a similar book with Antidotes in the title, and the fabulous Amazon machine prompted me to notice this little gem. Don't be fooled by price or length. Yes it is only 77 pence, and can be read in 20 minutes, but this is my opinion, shouldn't sway the purchaser to feel short changed. I feel the price suits the length, and , grammatical quality. There were many mistakes, in grammar, but I put this down to it not being proof read, hence the price. This was of NO concern to me, as the subject matter was brilliant. It gets to the point, makes sense, made me smile . In the time it took to read, over a coffee, I gained so much. Words have power, choose wisely, buy this book

I was so impressed with this little book that I bought a number of copies to give to my friends. It is a collection of what I call 'toxic' words. That is words if used without thought can have a negative effect. For example the word 'but' negates anything that goes before it, using 'and' instead can help; else keeping the 'but' and swapping the empowering clause to the end works too.

The book is really a booklet but worth every penny if you want to be a better communicator. It was out of print last time I looked *but* it is available on Kindle!
