Simple to use. Just plug in to the USB port and away you go! Ideal for use with things like Google Books for getting your book collection catalogued. Highly recommended - super fast and super reliable.

Great product, simple to use, no special software or driver to install, just plug and go, fast and can read almost any barcode.
It take me a good few minutes to workout as what application I need to run to get the output of the scan. incase any one out there who is as stupit as me, try to think this barcode scaner as a keyboard, what application you need to display what you type on your keyboard? Yes! any text editing programs (Microsoft word, OpenOffice, Notepad or any text Box that you type text into)
There are free software that let you custom made your own barcode and then print it out with your printer, just google search for "barcode generator". I even custom made my password (in barcode) to log on to my computer when windows first starts.

This barcode scanner is excellent value for money. I wouldn't expect to get a cheap ccd scanner for the price, never mind a laser one.
I use it for scanning Royal Mail barcodes and adding products to my internet shop. It works flawlessly. I'm glad I didn't spend hundreds on a famous brand one.
