Reviews

This Jackie Chan-style action-comedy stars Shaw Brothers veteran Bruce Leung as a lowly pickpocket compelled to learn a secret new form of kung fu in order to avenge the murder of his girlfriend. Placing the star's incredible acrobatic fighting skills to the fore, My Kung Fu 12 Kicks is regarded as one of the best films of Leung's career

As a classic kungfu film its great and is about the Kicking system known as Tam Tui. Story is ok and is a kind of rip off of Jackie Chan's Snake and Eagle shadow but the action which showcases Tam Tui is great. However it is dubbed only in English and does not have chinese language track as advertised! You've been WARNED!! As such I am only giving this dvd a one star rating. Great kungfu classic but poor English dubbing!! However if you don't mind the dubbing, then by all means get your own copy of this great traditional classic.
