Pin back your lug holes, we've got a live one. Fortune Drive are an edgy and tight mix of sharp lyrics and crunchy riffs played with verve and feeling. Based in Bristol, they have been touring nationally and their live sets just make you want to jump about like an absolute loon.

This debut single epitomises their style: punchy, upbeat but off the wall. Bobby Anderson has a strong, and unique voice that works perfectly with the crunchy guitars and synth lines. I dislike pigeon-holing, but seeing as so many people refuse to listen to things unless someone has said "they're like...", I will say that there are elements of the Kings of Leon and Bloc Party about them but without the occasionally unintelligible drawl of the former or the cod political posturing of the latter.

This really is a great track, and I look forward to an album soon. If they're touring near you, go and take a peek as they are very, very good live. If Razorlight had been half as good as Johnny Borrell claimed they were instead of having his head firmly wedged up his own behind, they still wouldn't have been this good.
