Format:Audio CD
A great follow up single to the MI:2 Theme, and one that will satisfy Limp Bizkit fans. Although more hip hop than rock, this is a great example of how Fred Durst blends them perfectly, and it is genuinely hard to dislike the song. Heavy guitar riffs feature alongside vocals that establish Bizkit's mastery of rock, hip hop and funk. 'My Generation' is the first single of their current (great) album that dismisses claims that 'Significant Other', their 1999 multi-platinum LP, was a one off. Do yourself a favour and pick your copy up, or better yet, buy the album.

My Generation is heavenly music. It is my fave peice in the whole wide world. It called to me. It called to me because about 6 months ago I did not know that alternative music existed. I was browsing around the music channels on television in disgust and this peice of music really caught my attention. It was indeed My Generation. It was just so great to hear that amazing music. I would advise anyone with half a mind to listen to it and just see for yourself how good it is. Also on the single CD there are two more tracks. 'Snake in Your Face' and 'It's like that y'all'. These two are not quite as successful but I think they are still worth listning to.

This single, being the newest single from the stupendous rapcore heroes, Limp Bizkit, was expected to obliterate any doubt as to who the best band ever was. But, yes,i hear you waiting in anticipation to hear my next comment, BUT, it is not. allthought the Bizkit are still Limp, and the vest, the newest single, My generation is rather a letdown for the listeners who apply for Freds more Metal side rather than the rap, (which is an added extra), as this single demonstrates more of the rap, and less of the core. It is still all in all a very good 'song', but in comparison with other hits such as Break stuff, Nookie, and No sex, it is n' but a scratch. So, all you avid bizkit listeners out there, i suggest you rush out (or in over amazon) and buy the album: Chocolate Starfish and the hot-dog flavoured water. as it includes the single and lots more choice tracks for a mere sum more.
