My Favourite Brunette

A Bob Hope classic, then again did he ever make a dud., My Favourite Brunette follows the same winning formula as the slightly superior “My Favourite Blonde”. Mistaken identity, mysterious beauty (the Lady of the respective title) appealing to our very own “Favourite” coward Bob Hope for help against the bad guys.

The one liners, which are delivered as only the great man could, are sharp as ever. The plot is above average with a good twist in the tale. It is fast paced and well acted with some highly memorable scenes.
If it has a weakness it is the obvious comparison with it’s slightly superior predecessor.
