Anyone who (like me) has been lamenting the lack of Bis action in the 21st Century, your lamentations are over! This is an album packed tight with lofi funk pop action, and is really a natural continuance from the point where we last left Bis (back in 2003).

I was a little worried that Manda wouldn't be able to carry the songs without the assistance of Sci-Fi Steven and John Disco (I really did love the way their voices played off each other on classic Bis recordings - and was disappointed that their data Panik project didn't bear more fruition), but after the first couple of tracks all fears were well and truly laid to rest!

Manda's delivery is mature and confident- nay *brazen*! In fact, at times she almost sounds like a Scottish Gwen Stefani (although far less annoying). The songs themselves are insanely hooky, funky, upbeat and very very 'more-some'.

If you're looking for something to bounce around to, then this is it. If you want to sit in quiet introspection, look elsewhere.

I'm thinking four stars is maybe a little harsh... but the album sets such a high standard through the first 8 or so tracks that I feel the closing few can't quite live up to the pace. They're still great tracks, but they don't shine quite as brightly as stand out tracks like 'Guilty Pleasure', 'Do The Static' and 'DNA'. I really can't get enough of this album at the moment.
