Superbly crafted with excellent performances by Burton and De Havilland, this never quite scales the heights of Rebecca, but it is an entertaining film for those wet Sunday afternoons. The quality of the picture and sound is great so presumably it is a digital transfer by Fox. Thoroughly recommended.

It was wonderful to see this film again and to watch the performances of Miss deHaviland and Richard Burton, a beautifully made film and well worth watching.
