More About the Author

Chris Haddon has over 20 years' experience as a multi-disciplinary designer, focusing on brand development and web design. For the past 10 years he has been operating his design agency, MediaPie, from his converted 1960's Airstream caravan.

"For me, one of the many positive factors to come from my books has been the ability to share something I'm truly passionate about with a wider audience. The 'sharing' aspect might sound like a cliché - but for many years, prior to starting the books, I've actively involved myself in the subjects I cover by way of ownership. Thus giving me the ability to source, curate, write and pass on my passion about subjects with my own first hand experience and knowledge."

The beautiful subject matter, glorious locations, stunning photography and owner stories, which feature in all Chris's series of books, have proved a success as countless newspaper, magazine and online reviews will testify. The approach given over to the content featured in his books looks past mainstream choices and shows that there is much more than meets the eye when it comes to classic cars, bikes, caravans and campervans. The inspirational styling acts as cue cards for others to make their own statement.

Chris's fourth title 'my cool bike', due to be published on 6th June 2013, follows on from his successful series of books, 'my cool caravan', 'my cool campervan' and 'my cool classic car'. Once again his aim is to inspire, with the hope that others, like himself, will embark on their own road to ownership.

This is a class book. Fantastic stylish photographs and quirky stories. Chris Haddon and Lyndon McNeil are a great pair that are on the same wave length! Highly recommended (even if you're not a bike enthusiast you can still enjoy it!!)

My Cool Bike has great pictures and articles about vintage bikes in the United States, Great Britain and Europe. I really like the in depth research into the people and clubs, especially those in America that I previously knew nothing about. I give it my highest praise, "A book so nice I'd give it to me friends".

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loved it. It's whacky and cool and interesting and perfect for the man who says he doesn't need anything. Good price, great gift, no complaints.

However, I could not find the bike on the cover inside the book, and no description either of the cover photos. But, I knew what the Holdsworth bike was, and have bought one off Ebay for restoration.....
