Book Description

This journal covers my five year experience with bipolar. It includes hospital stays, psychiatrist visits, medication, divorce, disability, and insights into how I handled the stigma and label of bipolar. Being diagnosed bipolar was like being thrown into a dark pit and you have no idea how to get out. I had the American Dream and bipolar crushed it to bits. This story shows how your life can get flipped upside down in an instant with bipolar. My goal for this journal is to help that one person who has been diagnosed bipolar learn from my experiences.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enlightening and interesting 4 Mar. 2014

This was a very good book, I enjoyed it because it gave an insight into how someone with bipolar feels, and the way in which this disquietening condition upsets peoples lives. It is a subject, difficult to understand if you do not have it yourself, so reading about it from someone who suffers from it was very enlightening and I feel I am better able to empathise with sufferers now

An extremely negative account of living with Bipolar. I've had bipolar for 15years and whilst I appreciate that everyones experience with this illness is very different this book portrays bipolar as a life sentence with no positives.

Absolute waste of money. There was i think about 5 pages to the 'book', and alot of that was repeated page after page. Don't waste your money on this, you won't learn anything and can read all of this on the internet.

This book is very short but very personal, it offers an insight into the mental health disorder which is bipolar. Good to read in order to colour academic understanding with personal experience.
