Robin Cook explores the terrifying world of biotechology and the moral implications of such experiments in this captivating book. Based around the destructive effect of scientific knowledge without moral limitations Mutation charts the development of the Frank family and their gifted son, VJ. When people close to the family start dying Dr Frank starts to worry about the implications of biotechnology leading him to a devastating discovery. I couldn't put this book down and you won't be able to either. It is similar in style to Cook's other fictional works and will satisfy existing fans while encouraging new comers to devlve further into Cook's work.

Mutation is in my opinion Cook's best contribution so far. It makes a gripping read and you will not be able to put the book down until the end. I found Mutation to be utterly unpredictable and was a joy to read
