This so-called book was nothing but hype of over-rated 'crime' writers. It seemed to me that not a lot of thought went into the actual study of crime writers, and of course quite a few of them are published by - surprise surprise - Bloomsbury. If you want to pay for a'flyer' from Bloomsbury, then purchase this 'book'. Otherwise avoid it like a neighbor with a smoking shotgun in their hand.
