I was recommended this book by a lecturer at University and it is perfect for any music student. Easy to use and very informative, it is just the thing for any budding musicologists out there. Well worth the money.

This is an excellent summary of all the major issues in current musical scholarship. Extremely useful, informative and up-to-date articles; relevant bibliographies; and gives a good guide as to where current thinking has got to in the various different strands of musicology. An essential handbook for all music students and researchers.

I loved this little book. It is packed with lots of excellent information and references. It really does introduce you nicely to the world of musicology. It is structured like a dictionary and covers all recent musicological terms. Fab!
