Product Description

Product Description

This work is expanded, updated - and even more hilarious! It is a comical compilation of more than 200 musical definitions that will appeal to all music buffs. "A Musician's Dictionary" takes a hilarious look at all those stuffy musical terms and provides a suitable alternative, viz: Aria: What you get when you multiply a singer's length by their width; Flute: A sophisticated peashooter with a range of up to 500 yards and deadly accuracy at close quarters; Gregorian Chant: A type of unison singing invented by monks as a mask for snoring; and, Music Lesson: A form of cruel and unusual punishment inflicted on young children by their parents.

About the Author

David Barber is a journalist and musician, he has written numerous books on a number of music related topics.
