Bite Hard makes for essential listening for people who love their 70s soundtracks. The tracks featured on this impressive compilation have been dusted down from the vaults of Dewolfe Music, who in their prime during the 1970s used to supply incidental and backing music for a whole range of British produced television programmes. One show in particular was the legendary and ultimate Brit cop series, The Sweeney. The tracks on this compilation vary in style. Many of the songs are a fine blend of soul, funk, rock and breezy easy listening, all of which make Bite Hard an entertaining and insightful listen into the realms of Dewolfe Music. A sequel to this quality album is now long overdue.
