i have been a fan of frank mills for many years.the music mainly piano is very easy listening.
this album is worth the money for the title track alone,music box dancer, but there are a few other good tracks on this album.

I highly recommend this album to anybody who enjoys melodical instrumental music. Most of the songs on this album have a memorable melody. My personal favourites are 'Music Box Dancer', 'Spanish Coffee', 'Valse Classique', and 'Blackfoot Country'.
There are only 2 songs on the album that I didn't like ('Theme from the Silver Broom' and 'When You Smile', so the proportion of filler is far lower than would be expected in a typical artist's average album.
So if catchy and haunting instrumental melodies are your thing, buy this album.

My mother had a record of this years ago, which she had forgotten. I got her the CD and she loves it. She is in her 50's. I like it, too-it's got catchy intrumentals. No vocals.

Fantastic Instrumentals

Frank Mills has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to compose flawlessly direct, positively charged instrumental music. Although it's been around since the 70's, Music Box Dancer still hits home and picks you up just like it did 30 years ago. I listened to this album over and over again in the 70's as a child, and it has served as an inspiration for my own 'happy' rock guitar instrumental music (Nason Resonance), where I'm sure you can at least here echoes of the wonderful Frank Mills vibe throughout. If you've never heard Frank Mills, definitely pick up this album and possibly his Best Of Frank Mills: Happy Music CD. You won't be disappointed!
