Product Description

Library Media ConnectionThese compact books are more packed with content than their cartoonish covers imply. Each book is illustrated with brightly colored graphics. The content is directed toward an older, hipper, pre-adolescent reader. Despite their detail-rich content, the writing tone is casual and accessible. These handy books serve as reference books on their respective topics; a teacher would appreciate a set in the ready-reference section of their classroom. They are good books to hand to a student who needs a fresh approach to the topic for clarification.

Not what I was looking for 22 Mar 2012
By Mom of 2 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
My youngest (10 yo) loves the Basher series. I bought this as an intro to music elements hoping it would include more information in musical notation for my young violin and clarinet players. If that's what you're looking for, don't buy this book. It is a fun book but doesn't provide as much depth as I would like. This is not geared toward budding musicians, but to children looking to expand on a very elementary level.

I love all the Basher books 2 Oct 2012
By Alicia Nossov - Published on Amazon.com

Basher manages to make picture books about complicated subjects that are fun and make complex ideas understandable. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Hurray for Basher Books! 11 Oct 2012

This book is thinner than the rest, but explains parts of music nicely. I think my daughter has stashed it someplace to keep it for herself!

Easily accessible and understandable 20 Sep 2011
By VA Mom - Published on Amazon.com

My daughter has every one of these Basher books, and loves how the Music book introduces elements of music and music theory in an easily accessible manner. The pictures and written explanation are clear and easy to understand, and makes learning about music fun.
