Someone wrote that the only minus of this book is the lack of many colour photographs, but I found this to be a good choice for this kind of book. People who start studying mushrooms are often distracted by those wonderful, packed-up with stunning colour photographs books, and the result is that they often forget to care about the really important features for identification. What Arora's guide gives you is just this... it forces you to observe your mushroom the right way, it gives you plenty of useful keys. Starting to know mushrooms with this book in hand is surely a good choice. And living in Italy, I really regret there is no such guide for European fungi. Also look out for the very good introductions to families and genera.
