Murray's is the best product I have used so far, and I have used a LOT. Similar items include Black and White (which was good but a bit too greasy for my liking), Dax (far too industrial), American Crew (waste of time and money) etc etc etc. Murray's has fantastic hold even if you add a pea sized amount. Which is what I would advise. If you want your hair to be greasy, buy American Crew. Don't pile in Murray's as your hair will become stiff like action figure hair. If you want a hairstyle with lift and hold, but with a more natural look, go for Murray's. Unless I find some huge flaw, I don't think I'll turn back.
P.S. Murray's has stayed unchanged since 1925. Surely that convinces you?

I was very pleased with this pomade. It is easy to work through your hair and produces great results,once on it can be restyled with a comb or brush. I did notice after a few days use I could quite easily brush my hair (swept back at the sides and pushed up on top) without adding any more Murray's. The scent is great, well vanilla of a kind, but then again I've found all quality pomades seemingly smell of vanilla. Washing out took a couple of attempts, but came clean. The orange tin is pretty cool and I'd recommend Murray's to anyone with a rockin' hair style.
it's like rubbing liquid fibreglass in your hair. Once in, it does not come out and your hair is going nowhere. Brilliant stuff.
