5.0 out of 5 stars Unless I'm very much mistaken - it's GREAT! , 24 Mar 2009
A very interesting book based on a very novel idea. If you like Murray, you'll like this (and you'd have to like him to even be considering buying it, wouldn't you?)
It's kind of like a photo-autobiography, a collection of pics from his (very priviledged) schooldays through to his retirement from F1 commentating, by way of his stint in the army, his days as and advertising exec, and the good old days of commentating on F1 and rallycross (remember that?) in the '70s. The older you are, and the further back you remember him as a commentator, then the more you're likely to enjoy it, I guess. Overall, a really interesting look at a motorsport icon, a bit of an eccentric, and someone who comes across as a genuinely nice person. Oh, and to keep you smiling there are plenty of 'Murray-isms' interspersed amongst all the other stuff.
