Fun:
OK, I've played a few hidden object games on my DS, like Mystery case files, Amazing adventures, Mystery tales, Witches curse, CSI, Hardy boys and Cate West vanishing files, to name a few. But i found this game Murder in Venice the best by far, it has a good story line which doesn't drown you with lots of text and you jump straight into it from the start with a hidden object game. Some of the objects you find are kept in your inventory for you to use to get out of sticky situations, for example, a chair in your inventory can be propped against a door to stop people getting in. You also have to find objects to help you progress like an old door which could be used as a bridge but it may be blocked by other objects, this situation then becomes a mini game for you to get through and once you get to the door you may need to use some thing in your inventory to de-hinge it. All through this there are small remarks (hints) from your character guiding you through. You also have to take pictures of the scene, a small area of the scene is shown to you and you then have to find it in the big picture and snap away. Whilst doing all of this you must remember to find a chess piece in each scene to unlock a chess mini game. So.. all in all, i found it a good game, with variety and good clear graphics.. i would highly recommend it.. and if you don't like it you can always trade it :).. thanks for reading x

Brilliant hidden object game. A bit short but then most of these hidden object games are! It has a really good story line and some great mini games!

I have played quite a few Nintendo games over the past year and I have to say that this has been one of the best. OK, you have to find the obligatory objects listed on an inventory plus do look carefully for tiny chess pieces otherwise at the end of the game you won't be able to access that part.
The game revolves around a Codex and a Satellite made during the Cold War so you switch between the '70's and the present day. The storyline is good with sensible dialogue, the video clips aren't that good but hey, you can't have everything. The game itself can be quite frustrating particularly when you get to the box with the padlocks on it! This bit nearly drove me to distraction but I perservered and finally mananged to do all of them bar the last one which my Husband was seconded in to do.
Recommended most highly.

Hidden Objects
Enjoyable hidden object game. You need to concentrate many items difficult to find. Prefer puzzle games like Professor Layton, but a good substitute giving you a break.
