Synopsis
Chief Inspector Woodend faces resentment, lies and murder. With its funfair, caravan sites and social clubs, Swann's Lake is the ideal weekend retreat for working class Mancunians - until criminal-turned-club-owner, Robbie Peterson, is found brutally murdered with a six-inch nail in his skull.
