This season of Murder, She Wrote, the eleventh, was the penultimate season of the long running detective drama series, which starred Angela Lansbury as mystery author Jessica Fletcher, who lives in Manhattan and visits Cabot Cove at weekends.
There were 21 episodes in the eleventh season, one of which ("Amsterdam Kill") was filmed with the tenth season but didn't air until the eleventh season. The Region 1 set of the eleventh season included two Season 12 episodes as bonus features. Hopefully they will be included in the Region 2 set, as the Region 1 and 2 tenth season sets both included the episode "Amsterdam Kill" as a bonus feature.
The 21 episodes (and hopefully the two bonus Season 12 episodes) should appear on the six discs (good to see Universal Playback going back to six discs) like this:

2. Amsterdam Kill
3. To Kill a Legend
4. Death in Hawaii
Disc 2 -
5. Dear Deadly
6. The Murder Channel

they were when Murder She Wrote graced our TV screens weekly. Gentle drama, the bad guy always gets caught, no blood and gore or spine tingling twists....just gentle drama and a bit of humour! I grew up on Murder She Wrote, I used to love it and and still do. This is an excellent season (as they all are in my opinion) and now its been reduced its an excellent buy!! I see Season 12 now has a release date in the US so hopefully not long til its released here.

The set is more of the excellent, gentle rompe of Jessica Fletcher. Writer, world traveller and most importantly of all super sleuth, solving mysteries wherever she goes.

Murder She Wrote
These are such enjoyable DVDs as it is usually "the nasty" who gets murdered and it is light hearted and easy to watch. Not a man's choice I would presume.

murder she wrote season 11,
Loved the dvd, must say i am a bit annoyed that disc 3 included 2 episodes from season 12, the makers could have got the whole season into 2 discs and charged less for the product.

Where is Season 12
I love Murder she wrote and this was just like all the others and some of the regulars were there also. I am just waiting for Season 12 now
