4.0 out of 5 stars Good fun...had us all in suspense!, 10 Aug 2008
Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
I was a bit unsure at first as I had never organised a murder mystery night before but I have to say that the evening was brilliant. The roles were engaging with funny costume suggestions. The music that came with the pack was "unusual" to say the least but my guests found it amusing. Took 3 hours to play and we took it at our own pace. Only negative is that the character booklets were written in the second person where the first person seemed more sensible. (This was only a minor problem which we all laughed off.)
If you are looking to host an enjoyable and informal event I don't think you can go much wrong with this.

3.0 out of 5 stars Had potential..., 25 Sep 2007
Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
I played this game with 9 other friends at the weekend and I must be honest, I have played better Murder Mysteries. The character booklets were written in the wrong person and after a couple of glasses of wine some of my guests became quite confused.

I've played better but it was still a good laugh - the costumes were brilliant!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun...slightly confusing!, 9 Feb 2009
Durability:2.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This was our first murder mystery party and everyone had a great time.

The characters are great to dress up as and act out - from Elvis to mobsters, our guests looked fab!

The clue books were written in a very confusing way - they should have been written in the first person - and left some guests slightly confused.

As our first muder mystery, it took a bit of figuring out when to do what, but we all got there in the end.

Overall a great laugh, great characters and a great night in!
