About the Author

I love this series. Read the whole series over the summer and then had to wait until now for my next 'fix'. Compelling with an intriguing mix of well rounded characters, including Libby's psychic friend Fran. Like the others in the series, this is a real page turner, which draws you in from the first page. Easy reading, but certainly not dull. Highly recommended. Hoping that Lesley Cookman is well on her way to completing the next in the series.

What a great series this is! It's the characters of course that make me want to know what's happening in their lives now, like catching up with old friends. This particular book put me in mind of some writing conferences I've been on - it was the all-in-one-bathroom pod that did it... - but then again it was only that - I've never been on a course quite like this one! (I can't decide whether I'm pleased or relieved about that.) But I can decide that this book, once again, lives up to the usual Lesley Cookman magic. If you've only just discovered Lesley, do start with her first one - Murder in Steeple Martin - and then you can grow to be friends with the characters like I have. As for me, I can't wait for the next one!

Another excellent Libby Sarjeant - with a "j" - book! I love Lesley Cookman's books - the characters and the sense of place particularly. This outing for Libby and her friends doesn't disappoint with lots of mystery and many glasses of wine in the Pink Geranium.
