This is a brilliant adaptation of Dickens 'A Christmas Carol'. It is great to watch for the whole family, not just kids. In my family a tradition has started ever since we watched this for the first time and we watch it every single year now.
It is so nicely done, funny and the music is pleasant as well.
I just love this movie and would definitely recommend it. Maybe not for children that are too young and / or easily scared. Not that it is really scary, but I guess for a very young child it might be a bit intimidating at times.

Kermit as Bob Crachit - well, why not? With Michael Caine as Scrooge, the Muppets do a good job of telling the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. He's a mean miser, but one Christmas Eve, three spirits show him Christmas past, present and future, and give him a chance to change his ways.

This is the music from the DVD THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL. The music on the DVD is wonderful and this gives you the opportunity to play and learn the words. The music is not written for children to play but is easy enough for adults to sit down and play.

I expected this book to be a story version of The Muppets' Christmas Carol movie. Instead, it contains words and music of the songs in the movie. It only has a few pictures. I was very disappointed.

Two boys' review: A touching Christmas book for Muppets fans

My sons -- ages 6 and 4 -- really like the Muppets. They love to watch the old episodes of The Muppet Show and have watched several of the Muppet movies, too.
We will watch The Muppet Christmas Carol movie and I'll follow that up with several nights of bedtime reading from this book.
I like that much of the original Charles Dickins' story is intact and that my young boys can better relate to the messages of love and sharing through Kermit and the Muppets.
There's also a paperback version of this book from Golden Books if you're looking for a less expensive option.
