What makes this book an interesting read is the method by which it goes from one time period to another, exploring how propaganda and the technologies of the time werte used. It gives a rare incite into the cause and effect for various time periods

This book offers a fascinating discussion of how people have sought to influence others over the ages. As such, it can be read as an interesting take on the history of the world in its own right! The updated material on the Second Gulf War and the post September 11th world certainly adds a lot to this new edition.

A good interesting book. I think the title should be A History of War Propaganda though....as the author concentrates on the wars through history and how males have been pushed into fighting for other peoples causes.
