I bought this for my darling hero husband when he was having a bit of a rubbish day and he'd finished his previous book. There was I thinking that a new KF would really hit the spot: having recently read World without end I thought that this new one had to be a blockbusting fantastic read and I was right!

As is usual I wanted him to be very happy and announced during his long journey homewards that I had a surprise waiting for him (and this time it didn't require sliding down the bannister rail). Once hubby made it home I presented him first with a kiss (because after 10 years I still like him enough to do that) and then with the package from Amazon.

His little face was a picture as he opened the folds of the cardboard and his face lit up upon seeing his favourite authors name on the cover. Ever eager to show how delighted he was with his new present he proceeded to open the front cover whereupon his face dropped and he proclaimed that as he has yet to learn Spanish it was going to take him some time to work his way through the book!

Let this be a lesson to you: this book is a must read but if you are English speaking you must check that you have ordered the correct language (unlike me).
