We bought our first seat from the high street and until we bought the Munchkin seat, hadn't reliased how inferior the high street one is. This one has handles so your child can support himself without holding on to the toilet rim or seat [i.e. more hygenic]. It can be washed easily and doesn't have any crevices or parts were 'muck' can accumualte. It has a little notch in the front so little boys can aim better when sat down. It has two tiny legs so it can stand so be put away and stored easily, unlike the other one which slides and falls all over the place.

This was the fourth toilet training seat I bought for my little boy and I've finally found the perfect one! So much so I've bought 2 more - one for our downstairs toilet and one for my mum's! the best features are that it has a non slip rim which means it does slip or slide while they are sat on it and it's very easy to clean. The handles are also great which makes my LO feel safe and also the shape comes up high at the front - essential for little boys!

I bought this thinking it was padded! Anyway, works better than the cheapy type that doesn't have contours.And yes, it doesn't slide about too!
