I think this product is such a great idea. It was really good for giving my son his first solids. The best thing iv found to do with it though is I put a piece of Banana inside, and freeze it, and my son just loves this, its like a healthy banana ice lolly! its great for him teething too!

These are GREAT for first time feeders on there own, snacking fresh fruit. ice, cooked meat Our Grandsons both like theres. not to big bit messie washing out but all comes clean under running tap.

When I saw this item I thought 'fantastic! I'll be able to chuck berries and other stuff in there during the day for him to suck on (particularly frozen stuff, as he's teething)'. Which of course you can do, but... the cleaning! It's a nightmare! The fabric is basically a smaller version of those mesh washing bags you use for washing your delicates in the machine. So imagine squishing a banana into that, then trying to get it all out.
The product description is completely accurate, I shouldn't have just assumed it's be a quick hot rinse job.
We'll probably use this when we're out and about as my son can grip it easily, and he really enjoys using it, it's the cleaning time that's made me shelve it.

Unnecessary
Bought this before starting weaning but found it completely unnecessary. It is better to let your baby loose on finger foods, for their development and for your cleaning schedule!
