I found this calendar back in 2009, of all places, down the local garden centre! I had used standard slim engagement calendars before but always found they lacked the space I needed for everything happening in the family. Imagine my delight at finding this calendar :)

It has a section for Mum plus 4 others. In our case Dad and 2 daughters and an 'other' section for whole family events and reminders.

It is good in that it generally starts with the school year (Sept) although this one starts in August for some reason. The only thing is, the calendars go on until the December of the following year, ie. Sept 2009 - Dec 2010 but if you buy another before Aug/Sept 2010, you won't use the last of the old calendar and, if you do, you won't use the first bit of the new calendar. That bit seems a bit daft to me.

There are over 500 neat stickers to highlight doctors, dentist, holidays, etc. My 10 year old daughter loves to put a little sticker by the things she is doing and there are plenty to choose from.

It really does cater for a very busy family with stickers for football practice, band, recital, etc. Some of it seems rather Americanised to my liking but I'm sure if you're children participate in lots of after school activities, it will prove fun for them to put the stickers on too. Having said that, I don't think there are anywhere near enough of each sticker for a weekly event throughout the year.

The calendar does tend to rip a little when hung up but the cover is strong enough so that it doesn't cause a problem with some of the pages tearing a little as you change month.

All in all, a pretty useful calendar and one that serves this household very well :)

A Great Calender 16 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
This is the third time I've bought this calender. I've usually bought the American version, but now there is a UK edition. Plenty for space for all appointments and great stickers to highlight your events. It is also a 16 month calender which is very useful.

Disappointed 31 Oct 2006
Format:Calendar
When I saw this calender on Amazon I thought 'what a good idea'. Each page is divided into 5 columns enabling you to head each column with a family member's name and therefore detailing any appointments or events for that family member. Stickers were included also. However, when I received it I was quite disappointed. A whole month is on display at a time making it atleast 2ft long - finding a suitable place to hang it will be quite difficult and it is also Australian with all the relevent 'Waitangi Day' and 'Anzac Day' noted on it. The stickers are for example 'vacation' 'field trip' If I know it was so Australian influenced I wouldn't have purchased it.
