Product Description

As a 'Mummy Whisperer' my priority is to help the Mum, because when she is happy and contented either her family tends to settle around her, or she rediscovers her own natural instinct to help her family deal with it's daily challenges. I'm not here to tell you what to do, or offer another one-size fits all parenting technique which can't possibly work for all the shapes and sizes of family. Instead I teach skills that adapt as the family grows and I use techniques that help Mums clear the stress, fear, guilt and brain noise from their lives. The aim is to boost your self-belief and increase the contentment, sparkle and closeness in your family's life; as you are the expert on your own family, sometimes you might just need reminding of how fabulous you are!

My blog is all about how I tackle the regular challenges of my family with Curly Headed Boy, Little Dimples, the Big Hairy Northern Husband and the two dogs. It's honest, sometimes funny, maybe a little challenging and definitely a different way of looking at life.

Kindle blogs are fully downloaded onto your Kindle so you can read them even when you're not wirelessly connected. And unlike RSS readers which often only provide headlines, blogs on Kindle give you full text content and images, and are updated wirelessly throughout the day.

5.0 out of 5 stars You deserve to have this 7 Feb. 2011
Being a Mummy can be the most wonderful job in the world, it can also be the most stressful. With so many different parenting techniques out there, you can easily become overwhelmed and start to doubt yourself. Comparisons to friends, their children their relationships can be damaging as you try to make your life match. When family are not close-by or long-standing friends are on a different page in life, it is wonderful to have a "surrogate sister" gently guiding and supporting us. Whether we like it or not, Mums are the Captains of our family's ship. When we are contented, harmony flows.

Lisa helps to clear a path through all the "noise" of being a Mummy back to your own inner voice. As Lisa has taught me, Mums really do know best!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Insight into a Mum's view 12 Feb. 2011
As a Dad who is not with his children as much as he would like to be I really do look forward to the 3 updates each week. Being able to read and start to understand challenges that Mum's face helps me empathise and support at home. Sure we dad's may not get it right all the time but i feel that reading this blog has helped me bridge some of the gap and getting closer to at least getting it right some of the time.

And just in case, yes i am the hairy northern type often referred to in the blog. Sure at one level my review is biased but subscribing to Lisa's blog gives me invaluable insight and talking through with other Dad's those insights are universal...

Happy reading!

The Mummy Whisperer blog is a great blog - it gives an insight on how Lisa's coaching techniques translate into the real world and demonstrates that Lisa is a real mum living a real life and that she is able to help real mums living a real life

Really enjoyed reading the mummy whisperers blog, it's nicely written and flows off the page, which is great for me as I don't have alot of time to read any more. I'm looking forward to reading more. x

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read for any parent 23 April 2012
The Mummy Whisper is a great read for any parent - be it a first time mum or a 3rd time round father (yes, I think this is a great site for dad's too), you will find down to earth support to help you along your way. With so many "mummy blogs" and parenting websites out there, it can be hard to find the right one to read - but Lisa, really brings helpful advice in an easy way to read.

Worth every penny!

Thanks!
