This is the latest edition, so that probably helps a lot in terms of accuracy of information. I found this book to be delightly accurate and informative. I had to refer to it quite often even though I visit Goa annually, as there are practically no signs anywhere letting you know the significance of major monuments and works of art. The best thing is that until I used this book for reference, I didn't realise the number of gems I've been walking past all this time! I'm heading to Mumbai next, another place that I've visited often, but will be referring to this book to see what I've been missing and teach my local friends a thing or two about where they live. A must-have for anyone visiting Goa & Mumbai, even if you've been there plenty of times before!

Good explanations but too heavy to carry. It only has 16 images but I think they describe exactly the essence of each place.

It was very helpful to have this guide!. We found the suggested tours interesting and it helped us to find a nice hotel in Mumbai. A "must have" if you're planning a trip to Goa and Mumbai... :-)

Goa is so over
Having spent 4 and a half months in Goa for the last 3 "seasons" totaling 12 months (ie the best bit from mid Nov to Mid March.) The Goans have split the season by pure greed. Read more

Goa LP
Very happy so far with this. Last year I got a Rough Guide to go to Kerala and missed the LP style. If you are used to LPs, then this is another well put together guide book. Read more
