The book covers broad ethnic groups including African Americans/African emigres, Latinos, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, and people from the Middle East.

About the Author
Norma D. Thomas is founder and President of the Center on Ethnic and Minority Aging, Inc. Previously she was Assistant Director of the Widener University Center for Social Work Education in Pennsylvania.
