Ali’s Dozen This incredible documentary looks at Ali’s heavyweight bouts, with unique inside insight and reflection form the people that were there. With original footage from his famous contests with George Chivulo, Henry Cooper, Earnie Chavers and of course his titanic battles with George Foreman, this a complete Ali experience.

Ali’s 65 Ali’s is a moving and intriguing documentary of Ali’s 65th birthday party, as much a celebration of his life, glittering boxing career and now the greatest fight of his life, his battle against Parkinson’s disease.

Ali’s Rap Ali Rap explores the notion that he unknowingly invented rap music, simply by being himself in public. If true, this would mean that rap did not originate (as commonly believed) in the South Bronx during the ‘70s; it would mean rap was invented in Kentucky during the’60s. Public Enemy front man Chuck D is the host of this fascinating and absorbing documentary.

All you can ask for DVD to enjoy the iconic figure of Muhammad Ali. It effectively shows you the 3 aspects of his character which made him so famous to the world:

1. The Boxer - Showcasing his top 12 fights, reminding us all of the God given talent he possessed in the ring. A perfect specimen of an athlete, coupled with the intelligence second to none, make him possibly the greatest boxer to have ever laced up the gloves.

2. The Entertainer - This DVD makes a strong case for Hip Hop (or Rap) being born from Ali's sharp and witty personality. It gives you the chance to enjoy some of his most memorable quotes, made to ryhme, and really highlight his charisma, and warming personality

3. The Man - Just when you think he can't be any more greater, the 3rd and final assessment of Ali, deservedly surpasses the above two. The values he held, the courage he showed in adhering to them values, made him a hero to millions around the globe. Never before him or after him, has there been a sporting personality that has done what he has done.

All in all, this DVD is more than worth the money you pay for. It's a must for any boxing fan, and it's a must for even those who aren't boxing fans. It is also a perfect DVD to show someone who is less informed of Ali and his achievements, and his peronsality.

A great buy..5 stars

This is a good dvd. It tells the story of Ali and the lead up to his fight with George Foreman in Zaire. The fight is not shown in full. At the end of the day I bought the disc to watch the fight, rather than the rap music, which is why it did not get the full five star rating.

Sorry guys. Avoid this if you expect lots of boxing, and The Legend in focus. Especially the Ali Rap section is bad bad bad... The 12 fights presentet is hapered by super-short and too few cuts, allthough the commentaries are mostly interesting. 3 stars might be one too much.

The best documentary on the maaan so far!

I have pretty much all the documentaries out there on Ali and this is my favourite!

Yes, some Hip Hop related topics in there so any true Ali Fan would probably not enjoy this as much! This one is for the youth!

But, still very enjoyable! Although, I do feel they missed some great fights out and only covered some fights briefly, still enjoyable - if you're of the correct age!

I bought this DVD for my boyfriend as he loves Mohammad Ali and he was impressed with my purchase and choice in gifts. He would recommend this to any Ali fan who is interested in not just the fights but the story too.
