More About the Author

Else Byskov, M.A. and B.A., is the author of "Death Is an Illusion", which was published in the USA in November 2002. The book is a general introduction to the fascinating world picture of the Danish 20th century intuitive philosopher Martinus.
Finding the work of Martinus changed Else Byskov's life completely. When in 1995 she stumbled upon a book about Martinus she had been a convinced atheist for more than 30 years. At that time she subscribed to the generally accepted view that we only live once and that death is the end. But reading Martinus' work changed her way of viewing both life and death radically.
Having turned her back on religion Else needed logical and tangible arguments if she were to be convinced about anything to do with an afterlife. And Martinus' work gave her just that: logical and undogmatic explanations, which appealed to her intellect, like nothing she had ever read before. After having read Martinus' complete work of more than 9000 pages she was so enthusiastic about the clear logic and convincing argumentation that she had to tell somebody about it. This resulted in the book "Death Is an Illusion", which in straightforward and easy-to-read language presents the main points in Martinus' world picture.
Today Else is convinced that death is not the end. This conviction is not only based on Martinus' logical explanations but also on intense studies of death related research such as the near-death experience, children who remember past lives, regression therapy, deathbed visions, after death communication and the afterlife experiments. The research and the philosophy fit perfectly, and both support the idea that our consciousness survives the death of the physical body. Death is only a transition of our "I" or self to another non-physical level of existence.
"Death Is an Illusion" has now been published in 4 languages: English, German, Spanish and Danish.
