Professional Zinc Oxide Tape.100% cotton fabric with Zinc Oxide adhesive tape with strong tensile strength, easy to unwind yet does not have aggressive adhesive. Containd dry natural rubber. Immobilisation of joints to prevent further injury. Can be used to strap joints together such as fingers or applied to prevent movement giving an injury time to heal.
I have used a lot of different zinc oxide tapes as I blister easily, for both running and training with the army. This stuff is rubbish, doesn't even stay on the feet after a few km of running. Thank god I didn't try to use it in the field.
I purchased this product to tape my shoulder following a instructions from my physiotherapist. This product is inferior to the zinc oxide tape she used at the hospital, which I had to remove after 5 days because it was beginning to look scruffy. This was despite me showering and getting it wet every day. The Mueller M Tape became unstuck within 24-48 hours, especially in areas where it came into contact with my clothes. We had to resort to sticking other tape over the top to keep it in place. I may have been unlucky as another review says that the tape is adhesive but I suspect it depends on what you intend to use it for.
unfortunatley the tape does not come with instructions however we found lots of videos on you tube that were helpful, my partner who is a builder, suffers with golfers elbow when completing certain jobs and medication has never been very effective this tape however was great, it really worked. You get a fair bit of tape on the roll and it's easy to apply.
I bought this tape as i had an ankle injury a few months ago. It served it's purpose (compression) and was easy to use and still sticks even if it gets wet (i wouldn't recommended bathing with it on though as it gets a bit mucky after).
I prefer kinesio tape though as it suited what i needed for my injury but if you wan't a much more rigid tape to keep an injury compressed without the bulkyness of a support brace/tubi grips- the zinc oxide will do.
Used this religiously for 16 weeks during training for the national three peaks. Put a 4 inch strip across the back of my heal to stop my boots rubbing and forming a blister. Worked every time! Used it for the "Big Black Mountian Challenge" and lasted all 20 miles on a hot sticky day! Would definately recommend.
