Bought this book thinking we would be doing all the reading but it didn't stay that way for long. The speech bubbles in the illustrations were the first thing our 5 year old tried to read. Now he tries for a chapter. This has been the favourite bedtime book for 3 months now. The animals' traits make him laugh and he loves the pictures even though they are just black and white.

My 6 year old boy has just started reading books on his own and he loved this book. We are a big fan of Michael Morpurgo and this is a brilliant selection of stories for the younger readers.

I bought this book to read to my 4 year old. We both absolutely loved it, it's a great long read for a younger child because it had lots of illustrations and speech bubbles. He loved it so much that he didn,t want it to end and was most upset when we finished.

I stock this book in my school library and it's hardly ever on the shelf. I bought it for my 7 year old niece and she loves it. Knew she would.

My seven year old Grand Daughter thought this a really great book. She found each of the stories fun to read, and although it is quite a big book she finished it over the Christmas period, and I am sure she will read this author again. A really good buy.
