1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY 10 July 2013
By Susan
I wish I had listened to all the negative reviews instead of ignoring them and buying a pair of these because they're absolutely rubbish I only had them 2 days and the bottom fell out where the screws go now I'm left with a hole in the bottom of one of them please don't do what I did and buy them despite reading the bad reviews about them because you will be disappointed :(

3.0 out of 5 stars OK for the money but cleats detach 2 July 2013
By harly
I have had a pair of these for about a year, after about 8 months the cleat mechanism tore out through the sole and was attached to the pedal,i did effect a repair and complained to SD who did say to return them, however the repair is holding out. The RRP of 90 is an eye catcher as they are nowhere near that quality, spend 20 more on a pair of Shimanos

1.0 out of 5 stars dead in 200 miles 10 May 2013
By acidohm
I used to be a pushbike courier, did around 350 miles a week. I would have needed almost 2 pairs for that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great 19 Mar 2013
Colour Name:Black| Size Name:10.5 UK|Verified Purchase
For the price you cant go wrong. My first pair of cycling shoes and I think I picked a good enter level shoe. I am a size 10 but after reading some reveiws decided to go for a half size bigger which I think was the right choice.

2.0 out of 5 stars a bit flimsy 15 May 2013
By slated
Colour Name:Black| Size Name:10.5 UK|Verified Purchase
I ordered these to see if I could get on with clip-less pedals, prior to splashing out dollops of cash on better gear, so it isn't a great surprise that they were not the best quality. But I have to say that they failed even to live up to my worst expectations of them. The mechanism by which the shoe connects to the cleat tore off after a very short period of time. The twisting of the foot required to release the foot from the pedal simply weakened the cleat fixing plate inside the shoe, and I ended up with the insert attached to the pedal, together with the cleat etc...a right pain to remove and, naturally, the shoe is now defunct. Shell out a few extra quid and buy something half descent.

1.0 out of 5 stars Falling apart after only three months 29 Nov 2012
I bought a pair from a high street shop and thought they were quite good at first but that didn't last long. I found that the plate which holds the cleat had started coming away from the sole. First the right and now the left shoe. I know they are low value but for only another 20 - 30 pounds you could get a much better pair of cycle shoes. I wouldn't waste your money.
