Definitely waterproof and warm in the wind but doesn't breathe at all. After a 40 minute journey you will probably be as wet on the inside as the outside! Still it is quick drying when turned inside out and doesnt 'smell' so if you have a shower at work and somewhere to hang your clothes then it will be fine for the journey home if combined with quick drying polyester climbing / walking t-shirt. Folds nicely and fits in the bottom of a Pannier bag so a handy purchase. Looks good on too.

Taking into account the price of the product, I expected a jacket that was 'good enough' to keep me dry during my winter mountain biking and not much else. I have been overly impressed with the quality of this product, however. As well as keeping me dry, it also does a fantastic job of keeping me warm. A couple of nice touches are the velcro wrist-cuffs and the drawstring elastic toggles around the waist. These allow you to seal the warmth inside the jacket. This doesn't mean that it isn't breathable, however, and I find myself warm but not sweaty. Perfect!
The inclusion of zipped pockets for valuables is another great feature that allows me to grant the fifth star in this product review.

Got the jacket about a week ago and have been cycling with it since.
Absolutely impressed with the high quality of the material and workmanship of the product, someone paid a lot of attention to detail in designing this piece. Seems well thought through and should last me a while.
+ light but sturdy material
+ plenty of pockets, all with zippers and once closed, very well sealed
+ front zipper well done, seals the jacket perfectly against water and wind
+ wind and water proof
Will keep an eye out for the brand from now on.
