This is an amazing book. I love the way that the author writes it to make it so laugh-out-loud funny. I like the way the skunks give Mucky a round of applause because he's sooo smelly. The wolf is funny too, because the ending (where he turns purple) is the funniest bit. I also like the way in which Mucky is very relaxed and says "That does not fit in with my plans", when the wolf tries to eat him! I think the wolf comes up with some very silly ways to try to eat Mucky without smelling him first, like using a clothes peg on his nose and gas mask! Meg and Ella

Mucky Moose is a long time favourite and a Book to read out aloud at Story times for all ages. Poor wolf how he does try and you cannot but not feel so sorry for him. The ending is ao unexpected. I am glad I managed to find my own copy to own at last.

Laugh till you cry till you pee. This book was HILARIOUS!

With Mucky Moose, the never ending search for a good old bedtime story ended here. Mucky's strong character (and smell) are to big a match for the big bad wolf. Morale of the story " If you can't eat him, become a seeing eye wolf " Laugh till you cry till you pee, this book book was a winner for my daughter and me.

Wonderful & entertaining for kids of all ages. I had great fun reading to kids grades K-4, using different voices for Mucky & the wolf. Kids laughed & laughed. Automatically initiates discussion time. It's my second favorite book, after Charlotte's Web.
