Follow this simple to use guide to bike care heaven! By regularly looking after your bike using our premium formulations and equipment, your bike will not only look better and be easier to clean but parts such as the chain and sprockets will last longer and not to mention your bike will look better than ever!! Ok let’s make a start. Place your bike in an upright stable position. Make sure you have access to a hose or a portable pressure washer. You only need a low water pressure to clean a bike so do not use a high-pressure washer as you could damage vital seals and components.- Step 1: Spray Muc-Off Bike Cleaner over the whole bike & leave for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Step 2: Agitate stubborn grime using the brush on each area of your bike or use the sponge and then rinse off thoroughly with fresh water.
- Step 3: Apply Bike Spray treatment onto frame, components and all areas of the drive chain to dispel excess water, lubricate and protect. WARNING: Do not apply to braking areas such a rims, pads or discs. Finish by applying a high quality bike lubricant (available separately)
After wash care: Rinse brush and sponge in clean water, dry them and store all the contents in the Muc-Off bag to keep everything contaminate free and ready for your next clean.
N.B. Do not allow Muc-Off to dry, always rinse with clean, cold water within the stated time and ensure you have rinsed off Muc-Off from all areas. Do not spray Bike Spray directly onto brake rotors or pads. Always follow cleaning and maintenance instructions given by your bike manufacturer. Motorcycle Care tips! Using any brush on plastic body panels could lead to surface scratching or swirl marks. We recommend using the supplied sponge or a microfiber wash mitt for these areas. N.B: lf you are not sure how best to clean a surface, take time to test a small inconspicuous area first for compatibility. Do not spray Muc-Off or Bike Spray directly onto a hot engine or exhaust.

I'm cycling very regularly now, and can't afford the luxury of a 'winter bike.' Yet it's amazing just how much crud comes off the road, and how much it gets in every nook and cranny on the bike. People often advertise expensive bikes saying dry miles only, and I can really see why they would do that.
This kit is a great help though, and goes a long way to restoring the bike's looks. I find it best to clean it soon after getting home. if you leave the dirt to dry on it becomes much more difficult.
A couple of warnings- firstly be sure and wash the brushes thoroughly. They can do a good job of getting oil-based dirt off the bike, but it then sticks to the brush and next time you wash the bike you spread it back on again. I wash them several times with hot water and detergent.
Secondly don't keep the whole kit in the bucket with the lid closed. I did this, and noticed the aerosol bike spray was getting rusty, but then found the can empty one day and all the spray in the bottom of the bucket. The can had rusted right through!
Apart from that it really does the job, and is one of the most useful things you'll get to maintain your bike.

Was reluctant to spend thirty quid on this when other kits are cheaper and I doubted that I really needed all those brushes. However, decided to buy it after realising how bad for the environment other brands are, and the various cleaning tools all turned out to be really useful. SO much easier than cleaning with car shampoo and a toothbrush! I've never got a bike so clean.
