Do you like harmonies?

Do you like feel good "dancy" music?

Are you okay with not understanding the lyric?

If the answer is yes then give this a whirl.

5.0 out of 5 stars A billion fifty ninety-forty stars 29 Aug 2012
By R. Wilbur - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
That's what my five year old son would rate this album. I heard this album reviewed on NPR a couple of weeks ago and knew it would be right up my alley, so I ordered it, and my son and I have listened to it constantly ever since. A terrific mix of catchy dance tunes with more rhythmic tracks featuring experimental sounds. Kondaine and We OK are about as peppy and upbeat as you can get. Bantu is a favorite of mine, featuring IMO the world's most beautiful singer, Baaba Maal. My son loves the first track, Adani, which opens with an eerie kind of horn sound before the beat starts kicking in, then cool altered vocals. The whole album is mesmerizing and addictive.

These guys played at a recent festival I attended. I had never heard of them, but I was blown away! African beats, techno pop/ feel good party music! Great album, my new favorite.
