Product Description

Test your knowledge in this trivia board game with hundreds of questions about the original domestic goddess, Mrs Beeton. Mrs Beeton's mission was to educate people to live, as she put it, 'economically, tastefully and well'. Share her pearls of wisdom on housework, (and the importance of elbow grease), her wise words when it comes to manners and etiquette and of course some of her most celebrated recipes and tips.

This is an enthralling game, with a bizarre range of difficulty in the questions, from very easy to completely impossible. I learnt a lot of trivia about Victorian Britain. One warning though - it says suitable for 8+, but I think a lot of children would feel frustrated by it because they wouldn't know enough of the answers.
