Born in 1952, Mr Potato Head is 58 years of age and even before his big picture debut in Toy Story, this entertaining spud was making the headlines, being the first ever toy to be advertised on television. And here's something we didn't know - The original Mr. Potato Head contained only parts, such as eyes, ears, noses and mouths, and parents had to supply children with real potatoes for face-changing fun! Eight years later, a hard plastic potato "body" was included with Mr. Potato Head to replace the need for a real potato. This Toy Story edition of Mr Potato Head is undoubtedly the most desirable of all spuds to precede it. With eyes, eyebrows, ears, nose, mouth, hat and the delightful moustache, this version resembles exactly the character we see in the computer animated Toy Story movies. Some people think getting the "Mr. Potato Head Pot Silly Suitcase" toy is better than getting this "Toy Story Mr. Potato Head" toy but their wrong...You don't need lots of things to put on "Mr. Potato Head" which the "Mr. Potato Head Pot Silly Suitcase" does and to top it all off you have to pay another £4.00! Why buy that when you only need a few things for "Mr. Potato Head" and your children can have lots of fun. When I was younger I got this toy and had lots of fun, this can be very creative for children because your children can put eyes in the wrong place and swap the nose with an ear and arms as feet to create a funny little toy which can keep them entertained... I did this. I recommend buying this fantastic, amusing toy that can make your children very creative. Thank you for reading my review. Great little toy, 10/10.

Overall this is pretty much like Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story films. The only weakness I would comment on is that the eyes are joined as a single piece so you can't play 'One-eyed Bart' as Andy does at the beginning of the first movie and you can't put his feet in his eye holes to play 'Mr. Angry Eyes' like in the second movie.Still a good toy.
