Interesting read 23 Jun 2006
Format:Hardcover
I loved this book and once I had started reading I had great trouble putting it down. It offers a unique insight into an extraordinary family. It is told with warmth and compassion. Judy comes over as a highly lovely woman, with a wonderful humour. Her loyalty to her husband is outstanding. It is a well-written account of a unique life. Judy certainly comes from an extremely interesting family. Her brothers and sisters lives are also extraordinary.

I have no hesitation in reccomending this book.

Compelling reading 23 Jun 2006
Format:Hardcover
Having read Mr Nice and enjoyed it, it was interesting to read the story from another perspective. Judy who spent over three decades married to Howard Marks offers an insight unavailable to any one else. The book describes her early life from an affluent middle-class family to meeting Howard at the young age of sixteen. It describes their life together over the years, both the hi's and lows. It is full of amusing anecdotes and I found extremely well written.

I have never written a review before, but I enjoyed this book so much and have to recomend it. A definite must read.

Brilliantly written. 22 May 2006
Format:Hardcover
This is a brilliantly written book. I didn't put it down until I finished it. It is an amazing story of an amazing woman. At times it is extremely amusing (like when she embarrases Howard by getting stoned in front of the mob) and at times extremely sad.

She really is nicer than Mr Nice. I highly recommend this book.

Really can't understand what the fuss is about. Thoroughly enjoyed 'Mr. Nice', the book not the film, but this was so tedious it required a real effort to finish. Read more
