Just to off set the review above, this DVD was exactly what I expected - the original series of the Mr.Men from the 70's. My four year old son adores them and walks around all day singing the theme tune and pretending to be the characters after watching. This DVD offers the bonus episode too, so a bargain in my opinion. :)

With the original Arthur Lowe narration and idyllic 1970s charm, Mr Men - complete series has the magic of one of the greatest children's programmes ever made. Lots of timeless morals to each tale and simple fun at a lovely plodding pace. This is perfect for every child under 10 & overgrown children alike. Cheerful & Charming, a one off indeed.

Perfect bedtime routine stories as short (approx 6mins) & simple (though admittedly we are keeping lots of the stories for when my baby is older as the subject-matter is currently incomprehensible for an 8m-old). We watch Mr Bounce almost every night (has also helped my baby accept shoes as Mr Bounce gets "heavy boots").

Mr Men do Christmas
My grandson's favourite Hargreaves animation.All the characters and all the seasonal antics you'd expect. A must for getting the youngsters into the Christmas mood.

Chikdren love the Mr Men series oif books. They also love the films of the books, And Mr Lowe (of Dad's Army fame) is just the Mr Right for telling the stories
