The bonkers front cover reflects the witty and charming story inside; we all know a 'Mr Cool' and that's what makes these books so memorable. This is a good price but you can get them in shops for less if you're willing to take the time to look.

This is a gripping and electrifying new novel, full of suspense, secret, and of course ultimate coolness from the incomparable Roger Hargreves. Iv'e yet to meet an adult who hasn't been entranced by it's witty complex plot and the character of the eponymous Mr Cool. Such a marriage of good writing, inventiveness and sheer sex appeal has not been seen since roald Dahl, perhaps even since Tolkien, Lewis and Randsome. Roger Hargreves has opened a whole generation to reading. There are so many surprising twists that you will not be able to put the book down, even if you wanted to!...utterly sensational!

This book was written not by Roger Hargreaves, but his son, Adam Hargreaves. It's cute, but not up to par. The newer books lack the simplicity and charm of the original Mr. Men and Little Miss books. This book just does not have the feel of the ones my family fell in love with. Hint: Look for titles written before 1988, when Roger died.

This is the greatest book. Whenever Mr. Cool snaps his fingers, he and Jack appear in a different place. You should order this book every time.

This is a very thought provoking story and I am sure that many people would find it disturbing to say the least. But it is certainly worth the read and they should certainly make it into a movie! The ending is very surprising and in its own way a bit terrifying.
The main character is strong but also a loving and thoughtful soul that one would not be easily dismissed.
