Rowan Atkinson is an excellent actor, and in this he plays hapless Mr Bean, a man who's very insular and alone. Yes, he does have a girlfriend sometimes, but otherwise he's mainly on his own with his teddy. He gets up to all sorts of silly shenanigans which are very funny, but ultimately, Mr Bean is quite lonely.
This is the best parts from the first 3 TV episodes of Mr Bean, from his first sketch of him helping a busker, right though to Bean driving his Mini from the top of the roof. Amazon seem to have made a mistake with the listing, so I have added it to the review to help you.

I have to say - even as a die hard fan of Mr Bean this is a waste of money, you're better off buying Mr Bean Vol.1 [DVD] as it has all 5 episodes in completion, which is a lot more than this DVD offers. Yes, it has the story of Mr Bean and an interview with Rowan, but if you get all 3 volumes of Mr Bean then you'll have all the episodes plus the specials AND The Story of Bean.
This is a waste of money, I can't even recommend this to fly-by-night fans, as the Volume 1 DVD is better value for money. Personally I would get all the volumes - it's always a good chuckle and you'll come back to them very often, I know I do.

As always, this is sure to make you laugh...I only wish they had made more episodes! Definitely one of the classic comedy series.

Unfortunately I am not in any way an admirer of Rowan Atkinson, and you will wonder why I bought this DVD? I visit Germany twice yearly, for between four and five weeks... and most of the children and parents I know so well are ardent admmirers of Mr Bean, so for a boy`s birthday I bought this DVD, which is longer than usual in time, and I know the boy, who will be celebrating his 13th Birthday will be wildly thrilled when I pass it on to him!
